Dr. Dre's Estranged Wife Nicole Young Alleges He Held A Gun To Her Head

Things are getting ugly between Dr. Dre and his estranged wife in their ongoing divorce.

In new legal documents, which were obtained by ET and filed to the Superior Court of California, Nicole Young, 51, alleges that the hip-hop mogul, 55, held a gun to her head on two occasions in 2000 and 2021. In the docs, she also says that he punched her twice in the head and kicked down her bedroom door during an altercation in 2016 when she was "hiding from his rage." Young filed for divorce in June 2020 in Los Angeles, citing "irreconcilable differences" after 24 years of marriage. They share two adult children: Truice, 23, and Truly, 19.

Now, Dre has previously denied any allegations of abuse in past filings, saying, "At no time did I abuse Nicole or threaten her physical safety." However, Young insisted that is a "blatant lie." According to her, Dre has "verbally and emotionally decimated my personhood to the extent that I currently suffer from post-traumatic stress syndrome." "His long-term abuse must be a factor that the court takes into account in awarding support and fees," she continued.

More specifically, Young detailed one incident prior to their marriage in September 1995 when the Beats founder allegedly "slammed me up against a wall and lifted me off the floor by my neck."

"I have also offered extensive and painful testimony about Andre's relentless campaign of abuse and control over me for more than half of my life," she said in the new docs. "It is misleading, revolting and insulting for Andre to suggest that I have not been abused because, as a victim of relentless abuse and isolation, I did not create and maintain a contemporaneous record of abuse inflicted on me."

While Dr is still in the ICU after suffering a brain aneurysm at the top of the year, his lawyers have reportedly agreed to pay Young $2 million in temporary spousal support. As for the $5 million she demanded in attorney's fees, the team has yet to succumb to that request. Sources recently told TMZ that Dre will continue to "cover Nicole's living expenses at her Malibu pad, as well as her mother's Pacific Palisades home for the next several months."
