I used to think most employment fairs had - well jobs. Apparently that's not usually the case. When Director Todd Bernstein decided to have a job fair during the annual MLK Day of Service he was determined that there would be real jobs that people could actually apply for. We're partnering with the MLK Day of Services Jobs and Opportunities Fair on the King Holiday.
I caught up with Todd at his annual news conference held at Girard College to announce the 19th Annual Greater Philadelphia Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service where the event's signature project site will take place on Monday January 20th.

This year’s Greater Philadelphia King Day of Service marks the 60th anniversary of the 1954 Brown v. Board of Education US Supreme Court decision desegregating America’s public schools.
All organizations or groups planning projects are encouraged to register them at www.mlkdayofservice.org or 215-851-1811. Organizations interested in becoming sponsors of the Greater Philadelphia King Day of Service and MLK365 should contact Todd Bernstein at firstname.lastname@example.org or 215-242-9070.
